Bastogne

Everything I know about the Battle of the Bulge comes from watching the History Channel (numerous in shows), Patton, and Band of Brothers. It may be because I’m a guy, but I was really excited to have been able to take a day trip (June 8th) from Luxembourg into the small Belgium town of Bastogne.

I spent a couple of hours in the museum where I followed the an audio tour and watched a documentary of the battle. No pictures of the museum, instead I have pictures of me outside with a tank, of me on top of the memorial, and in front of the crypt:
