So, I was walking around Paris with a few other Couch Surfers and we passed by a boutique displaying a very gaudy bright orange dress.

Chad: That thing looks like something you only wear on Halloween.
Vanessa: …or if you’re in Paris.

My explorations about the city lead me through very diverse areas, which blow my mind in two ways: We are all very much alike and we are very different. Evey major city that I’ve travelled to has its own quirks– facinating ones at that. Paris itself is big– very big– as any city that I’ve explored. Not only is the city big and spacious, but densly populated. So many people walk about, just screaming how pedestrian friendly the place is. And with this gaggle of residents and commuters and tourists, you get a diversity of streets: streets that resemble the ‘mythical romantic Paris’, to ones that seem too modern to be Paris, to places you wouldn’t want to be at night. The adventure seems endless here.
