…And Quitters Never Win!

I do not have the words to describe how amazingly unpleasant the experience of quitting smoking is…

It’s true what they say…”You don’t know what you got ’til it’s gone…” Seriously, I never appreciated how easy smoking made my life. That’s right! I said it made my life easy. Let me explain.

You see I no longer know how to wait, or kill time without smoking. My breaks at work have been “Smoke Breaks” for as long as I have actually been working. What do non-smokers do on their Smoke Breaks? Whatever it is I assure you that it is a complete, utter and undenaible waste of time compared to smoking. Seriously…what does one do on a 15min break other than smoke? There’s no time for anything useful…at least not nearly as useful as a smoke.

Smoking is so amazingly good. If you’re ever stuck waiting somewhere, all you have to do is light up, and no longer are you waiting about looking about you uncomfortably and seeming shifty…you’re SMOKING. God I miss that about smoking.

I wish I had never decided to quit. Sadly the most concrete reason for me to be suffering so…is simply that I decided to…and refuse to fail. I am not motivated to quit in any way…I just had decided to quit, ya’know, because I should, not because I felt any need or desire to quit. Now, out of spite, I refuse to quit the quitting.

 BTW…this is just after 24hrs with no smoking…let’s see how bad is gets by 48.
