Meanwhile, the third sales phase for 2006 FIFA World Cupâ„¢ match tickets begins on 12 December 2005. Approximately 300,000 tickets are expected to be available. The ticketing area at www.FIFAworldcup.com containing the order form will re-open at midday. Applications will be accepted until 15 January 2006. The ballot procedure used to allocate tickets in the first sales phase will in all likelihood be repeated. The order in which applications are received has no bearing on an applicant’s chances of success in the ballot.
