Trier and a New Camera

Ok. Yet another brief post. I went to Trier, one of the oldest cities in Germany– old enough to have been a Roman outpost:

Yes my old camera died on me while in Paris (en route to Luxembourg). So I bought a new one, which took the lovely photos seen above, at a place in Trier– I think I overpaid, but my options are limited while travelling:
