Worldwide D&D Game Day

Written by Aaron on November 4, 2005 |

That’s right. Bust out your dice because one of the highlights of the geek year is here.

Tomorrow, November 5th is Worldwide D&D Game Day.

I don’t know about you but I plan on getting both my Dungeon and my Dragon on all day long.
I will be pouring owlbear milk over my cereal in the morning before heading out to the tavern in hopes of finding an adventure.

I have geeked up a bit for effect but I do honestly intend for my whole day tomorrow to revolve around the D and the other D. I will not go into the details of my character for fear of wedgies or noogies or other unpleasant physical abuse most likely to end in “-ies”. What I will say is I’m a very dangerous man with a throwing axe…and I only need 1300xp to level. Watch out Lv9 here I come Beyotch!

Now it is important to mention that this is not merely National D&D Game Day or even North American D&D Game Day. No No No my friends this is World-muthafuggin-wide D&D Game Day bitches! I will be crushing Carrion Crawlers in California, while dwarves are dodging drow in denmark, half-orcs are hanging hobgoblins in Havana, Barbarians are battling beholders in Baghdad, Assassins are assailing aarakocra in Auckland, rogues are reaming Rocs in Rekyavyk, and orcs are ogling ogres in…oh you get the point.

It’s WORLDWIDE!
Geeks of the World unite!

That’s right everybody so go out there tomorrow and roll some 20’s damn it!

And Yes… They will be tackling the Tarrasque in Texas, as it seems that mythological beast in some way “messed with” the state, which I am told is an unwise thing to do…
